On the other hand, graduate students only need to pay an application fee of about $105.

The minimum English proficiency requirements for undergraduate students are as follows:

1. York University Automatic Entrance Scholarship

This York University scholarship for international students is given to local and international students with an average of at least 80%. The amount given will depend on the student’s grade and eligibility. For example, an applicant with an IB score of 42-45 may be entitled to a scholarship amount of about $3,200.
This scholarship is renewable for 3 years, depending on the student’s course load and GPA. As such, the applicant must maintain a GPA of at least 8.0 and a course load of 24 units to continue receiving the scholarship.
2. Glendon International Scholarship

The Glendon International Scholarship is available to international students enrolled in the said college. To qualify for this York University scholarship for international students, the applicant must have a grade of 85% and demonstrate leadership potential – as well as financial need.
Winners are chosen from nominations coming from school or community organizations. Apart from that, the applicant must also submit a 300-word essay that showcases their leadership skills – and possible contributions to Glendon College.

Available as a one-time award, it requires applicants to submit an accomplished application form, curriculum vitae, and transcript of records to the Scholarship and Awards Coordinator.
2. Joyce and Fred Zemans Scholarship

- Scholarship Amount: $2,700 (variable – depends on the endowment fund)
The Joyce and Fred Zemans Non-Renewable Scholarship is given to 3 students from the Graduate Program in Art History, the Schulich School of Business MBA Program, and the Osgoode Hall Law School Graduate Program in Law.
While there are preferred qualifications for applicants, the general requirements include forthcoming/present enrollment and proof of academic accomplishments. Other necessary documents include a letter of nomination from the Program Director, curriculum vitae, and transcript of records. A Statement of Research is also required from Art History and Law majors.
Similar to undergraduate scholarships, York University offers graduate scholarships for international students according to program/activity.
