American car maker Tesla has unveiled its Model S “Plaid” at an event in Fremont, California.
At the event, Tesla CEO Elon Musk hyped the car as the ‘quickest production car ever.’

- Top speed of 200 mph
- 1020 horsepower at the peak
- Over 400 miles range in one charge
- The car charges in less time of 15 minutes.
The Silicon Valley automaker has billed the car at $130,000 (Sh14 million)

The Model S Plaid has extremely powerful processing that can run AAA games on the car’s screens at 60 frames per second, in addition to powering all of the other services Tesla allows, such as Netflix, Spotify.

There are other upgrades, too, such as more room for rear passengers, as well as rear-seat wireless phone chargers. “The current Model S, the backseat is not amazing. But the new one — it’s actually a legit backseat,” Musk said.
