Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa will jet into the country today for a three days state visit.
During his stay, Mnangagwa and his counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta are expected to discuss issues to do with cooperation in various sectors, opportunity to strengthen bilateral ties, and leverage the potential for bilateral trade, investment, tourism among other areas.
Earlier on Tueday, Kenya – Zimbabwe Joint Permanent Commission for Cooperation (JPCC) laid a strong foundation ahead of Mnangagwa’s visit.
JPCC was co-chaired by Kenyan Foreign CS Amb Raychelle Omamo, and Dr. Amb. Frererick Shava, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Zimbabwe.
According to State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena Mararo, Mnangagwa will be accompanied by First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa.
They will be received by their Kenyan hosts President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta on Wednesday, at State House, Nairobi.
