High Court Judge James Makau has suspended all flights from China over coronavirus threat. LSK had earlier Friday sought the orders;
In the second file filed by two medics, justice makau has issued an order preventing CS health, CS transport, CS foreign affairs, the AG and Kaa from letting into the countrt by air, sea and land any persons from china or any other WHO designated hot spot country that is adversely affected by the virus;
The Judge said the passengers will be confined and quarantined in the facility until they are duly certified to be free from the COVID-19;
The CS’ s have also been compelled to trace, account, re-examine, and quarantine in a KDF facility all the 239 passengers that they let into the country aboard a chinese flight which landed at JKIA on 26 February;
The three petitions have been filed over the virus issue. The above order is in relation to the LSk petition;
All the cases will be heard together. Matter to be mentioned on March 3rd.
