At the latest Safaricom SIG (Special Interest Groups) Forum, Victor Kagema, Managing Partner at 3Verse Kenya Safaricom’s lead strategy and marketing agency delivered powerful branding insights to empower SMEs to attract and retain corporate clients.

Held at Safaricom Headquarters, the forum brought together youth, women, and disability-owned businesses, reinforcing Safaricom’s commitment to diversity and inclusion in its supply chain, aligned with SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities.

Kagema emphasized the importance of building brands that connect emotionally and align with clients’ values.

“Safaricom isn’t just sourcing it’s uplifting,” he noted.

3Verse, recognized for its creativity, recently won four Pitcher Awards for Safaricom’s Shine Kenya and Sambaza Furaha campaigns.

The campaigns blended community impact, customer rewards, and emotional storytelling with Sambaza Furaha supporting flood-hit communities and Shine Kenya launching a new anthem by Nyashinski and Cedo.

Beyond Kenya, 3Verse also clinched four Silver Awards for a campaign in South Africa.

“These wins reaffirm our belief in African creativity,” said Kagema. “We’re proud to walk with Safaricom in building purpose-led, inclusive campaigns that make a difference.”
