Sameer Africa has sacked its CEO Simon Ngigi, Kenyan Business Feed confirms.
Sameer Africa PLC appointed Mr. Simon Ngigi as its Managing Director with effect in October 2018. Mr. Ngigi took over from Mr. Allan Walmsley who left the company after 6 years to pursue other interests.
Mr. Simon Ngigi had been the Group managing director of Longhorn Publishers Limited before resigning in July 2018.
According to our source, Mr. Simon Ngigi has been sacked for incompetence.
Efforts to lobby for his contract to be confirmed were unsuccessful.
