Octagon Africa Financial Services has opened a new office on the 9th floor of Epic Business Centre in Mombasa, expanding its presence in Kenya’s coastal region.
The new office is intended to improve access to financial solutions, deepen client relationships and support the long-term financial security of individuals, families and businesses.
Octagon Africa Group CEO Fred Waswa said Mombasa is a fast-growing city and the Coast region offers significant opportunities across trade, tourism, hospitality, logistics, manufacturing, oil, professional services and small and medium-sized enterprises, with diverse needs spanning retirement planning, employee benefits, insurance, investment and wealth preservation.
The launch builds on Octagon Africa’s partnership with Alexforbes, which combines Octagon Africa’s local market presence and client networks with Alexforbes’ extensive employee benefits and financial services capabilities.
Alexforbes Chief Commercial Officer Craig Bentley said the Mombasa office demonstrates a commitment to embed financial solutions in the coastal region and aligns with Alexforbes’ objective to offer growth across the African region, strategically into Kenya, while reinforcing its partnership with Octagon Africa.
The expansion arrives as employers seek to optimise employee benefit schemes and individuals and businesses navigate retirement preparedness, wealth creation and financial resilience, with the office set to serve those seeking retirement planning, employee benefits, insurance, investment and wealth management.
Octagon Africa described the move as a strategic step toward expanding its regional footprint, diversifying its service offerings and solidifying its role as a holistic financial services partner, aiming to increase participation in formal financial solutions, improve financial awareness and broaden access to retirement and investment planning.
