Detectives investigating Matungu killings have arrested Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala for questioning which left at least 13 people dead and scores with multiple injuries.
Malala was attending induction workshop for media practitioners at a Kisumu hotel when officers drawn from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations pounced on him on the afternoon of Friday, May 17.
The politician was driven to Kisumu Central Police Station.
