Jubilee Asset Management Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Jubilee Holdings, officially opened its fourth Financial Advisory Centre in Meru, located at Royal Business Park on Tom Mboya Street.

The new centre will provide complimentary financial advice and tailored investment support to individuals, businesses and institutions.

Meru was chosen because it serves as a commercial hub for the Mt. Kenya and Upper Eastern regions, which together have a population exceeding 1.5 million and a county gross domestic product of roughly KSh140 billion.

The local economy is diversified across agriculture, trade, education, healthcare and transport, and the town links to neighbouring centres such as Maua, Timau and Isiolo.

Acting Chief Executive Officer Cliff Bakashaba said the expansion reflects rising demand for professional investment guidance outside Kenya’s major cities and aims to bring advisory services closer to regional clients.

Kiogora Mbui, Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Meru Chapter, welcomed the move, noting that a stronger presence of financial institutions in towns like Meru can deepen financial inclusion and support local enterprise growth.

Since beginning operations in December 2022, Jubilee Asset Management has grown assets under management to more than KSh276 billion, including over KSh35 billion in retail funds and in excess of KSh241 billion in institutional funds.

The Meru centre will also complement the company’s JAMHub self-service portal, which enables customers to open and manage investment accounts remotely.
