Business Ireland Kenya has changed its name to the Irish Chamber of Commerce Kenya, unveiling a new logo and website at a reception in Nairobi on Thursday October 29, 2026.
The rebrand, announced on November 1, introduces a shamrock logo with roots and three leaves, the roots symbolising the link between Kenyan and Irish businesses and the leaves representing representation, insight and growth.
The identity pairs Shamrock Green with Kenyan Earth, a brown colour that brings Kenya into the visual theme.
Ms Katherine Muldoon, Chairperson of the Irish Chamber of Commerce Kenya, said the new identity reflects the organisation’s long-term role in helping members understand the opposite market, meet the right people and turn opportunities into trade and investment.
The event was hosted by H.E. Caitríona Ingoldsby, Ambassador of Ireland, together with Ms Muldoon at the Irish Residence in Nairobi.
Established in December 2013 with the support of the Embassy of Ireland, the chamber has built a network of Irish, Kenyan and international professionals and offers networking events, knowledge-sharing forums and industry insights.
Under the tagline Connect | Collaborate | Capitalise, the chamber will continue to provide a collective voice for members, close the knowledge gap between the two markets and turn relationships into capability and transactions.
The chamber said it will retain its focus on business networking while expanding its work in facilitating cross-border trade and investment.
A refreshed website, irishchamber.co.ke, now provides membership and partnership information and signals the chamber’s ambition to attract more businesses and organisations interested in Kenya-Ireland commercial opportunities.
