Microsoft Africa Development Centre (ADC) managing director Jack Ngare has landed a lucrative job with American tech giant Google where he will join their cloud business as a technical director in the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Mr Ngare was heading Microsoft’s tech innovation and development center, which has been in operation for three years and opened a new centre of operation in Nairobi last month.

“We are thrilled to have Jack join our growing team and bring his expertise to companies based in Kenya and around the world.” said Will Grannis, Google Cloud’s chief technology officer.
