Factorial announced a partnership with Glovo Kenya at the inaugural Future of Commerce Summit in Nairobi, using the event to showcase its AI-driven workforce management platform.

The partnership does not include a contract for Glovo to use Factorial internally, an integration for Glovo merchants, a special price or an implementation timetable; it is intended solely to pitch AI tools for payroll, recruitment and other administrative tasks.

“Our partnership with Glovo Kenya and our presence at the Future of Commerce Summit is a direct reflection of our long-term commitment to this market,” said Fredrick Githendu, Partner Manager at Factorial.

Glovo Kenya Country Managing Director Caroline Mutuku said the business has grown fourfold over the last four years and staff have risen from 33 to more than 100.

Factorial One, the AI assistant built into Factorial’s software, can answer employee questions, retrieve policies, read receipts, prepare expense claims, check them against company rules and conduct initial recruitment screening, preparing evaluations for human review.

Access to employee records follows the permissions already assigned to each user, and Factorial advises prospective buyers to verify how the AI interacts with their approval processes and data.

The company disclosed a Series D funding round of US$150 million (about KSh19.5 billion) on June 3, 2026, valuing Factorial at US$2.5 billion (about KSh324.93 billion) with General Catalyst as lead investor.

Factorial’s global pricing page lists a starting rate of US$8 per user per month (about KSh1,040); a 20-user business would therefore spend US$160 (about KSh20,800) per month, though this is an illustration and not a Kenyan quotation.

The partnership gives Factorial a route to employers through Glovo’s business network, entering a market where SeamlessHR already offers payroll and HR software to Kenyan companies.
