Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i says that nearly 200 national development projects have stalled at the county level due to disagreement between the two levels of government.
The CS however said that following a meeting with the Council of Governors, a consensus has been reached on how the implementation process will be conducted.
This even as some governors cited lack of involvement and consultation during the undertaking of the projects.
The CS said he will schedule more meetings with the county bosses to chart the way forward.

Earlier on a number of governors had decried lack of consultation on projects from the national government saying that whatever projects to be undertaken should be of benefit to the common mwananchi.
