Kenya’s current installed geothermal capacity by KenGen is 799MW. The estimate for full capacity is 10,000MW of electricity.
Geothermal is Kenya’s second-largest source of electricity.

The company is currently implementing Geothermal well-drilling contracts in Ethiopia and Djibouti.
