State owned energy producer Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) Plc has set aside sh10 million towards supporting the communities around its installations.
Speaking yesterday during the sh20 million donation to the Kenya Covid-19 Fund, KenGen’s CEO Rebecca Miano said that the additional funds will go towards the purchase of hand sanitizers, soap and water tanks.
The funds were the efforts between KenGen and KenGen Foundation.
