Safaricom has issued another System Upgrade notice that will render a couple of services unavailable.
This will run from today at 10pm – Saturday 21st August 2021 – to 8 AM on Sunday 22nd August 2021.
The following Safaricom Services will be unavailable:
- All product purchases
- Balance enquiry
- Okoa Jahazi
- All Bonga Point services
- Postpaid Payment
- Home Fibre Payment
Safaricom has said that all other services, including calls, data, M-PESA, and SMS will remain available as usual.
So you’ll be able to access the usual services but purchases and payments as listed above are what will be affected.
It will be good on you to check if any of these services may require your attention in that period of time.
For example, if you need data bundles during that time, or minutes, or if you’ve not yet re-paid your Home Fibre subscription and it’s expiring soon.
