The Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) has postponed the Third Test run at Green Park earlier advertised in the daily newspapers from Wednesday, 16th June, 2021 to Friday 18th June, 2021.
In a statement seen by kenyanbusinessfeed.com, the agency said this is necessary to enable information reach the wider public and stakeholders for adequate preparation and
participation in the event.
The first test run which involves picking and dropping off of passengers was done in April 2021, between 6am to 9am. The second was carried out on May 28, 2021 between 4pm and 8pm.
The terminus, located at the former Lunar Park, is a drop-off and pick-up point for matatus plying the Ngong Road, and Lang’ata routes, all currently operating from the Nairobi Railways Central station.
It is part of a wider city decongestion strategy being implemented by NMS under the Nairobi Integrated Urban Development Master Plan which includes the construction of public service transport termini.
