Hawk-eyed US tweeps could not help but spy with their little eyes our very own Lupita Nyong’o getting down with gorgeous musician Janelle Monae.

As the two had the time of their lives during the Met Gala after party, the pair could not keep their hands or faces to themselves.

In a photo and video shared to Twitter, the duo flaunted some cheek to cheek and hand to hand action that could literally make the hair at the back of your neck stand!

Lupita and Janelle did not care who was watching and they danced like a pair of lovebirds with their faces glowing with wide smiles.

The energy in the room lit up as the two moved to the beat and sometimes came too close one would think they were sharing a kiss.

Janelle who is a renown singer is openly queer and neither identifies as a woman or man.

After spotting the electrifying dance, netizens could not help but think the duo had taken its friendship to a whole new level.
