Professor George Magoha died at Nairobi hospital while receiving treatment for cardiac arrest, Tuesday evening.
The former Cabinet Secretary for Education is reported to have told a friend and family members that he felt ‘he had done everything and was content’.
At the time of his death, Prof Magoha was preparing to bury his US-based brother, also a professor who died on 6th December 2022.
Prof. Richard Alex Nyabera Magoha’s burial was scheduled for Saturday 27th January 2023.
Prof Magoha is survived by a wife, Dr Barbra Odudu and son Michael.
Plans for his burial are underway.
