But sometimes, despite our best effort to secure our passports, they get misplaced in the house, some get car-jacked or robbed and their passport is taken away etc.
The government on Thursday announced that it is phasing out the old passport by November 2022.
Travellers will begin using the new e-passports from 1st December 2022.
