Kenya Airways has entered a strategic alliance with Art of Luxury, a high-end retail platform, that includes a purchase of five million points from the airline’s Asante Rewards loyalty scheme.
The collaboration will see the airline promote the retailer through advertising in airports, its in-flight magazine, digital channels, email newsletters and video content, while both parties run joint marketing on selected Kenya Airways platforms.
Both organisations expect the tie-up to raise brand awareness, broaden customer interaction, boost the Asante Rewards programme and pave the way for future co-branded campaigns and exclusive luxury experiences for premium travellers.
“Our customers travel for business and for leisure, and many of them shop and spend with the same care they bring to choosing an airline,” Acting Group Managing Director and CEO Habil Waswani said. “This partnership will bring together marketing, customer rewards and premium experiences, reinforcing Kenya Airways’ ambition to be a premium lifestyle and travel brand beyond aviation.”
Mahesh Shahani, CEO of Art of Luxury, added: “We are proud of this partnership with Kenya Airways, which creates opportunities to connect luxury shopping with travel rewards and curated customer experiences. By working together, we look forward to introducing Art of Luxury to a wider audience and exploring new ways to engage customers who value quality, craftsmanship and exclusivity.”
