The Kenyan government has exempted more foreigners traveling to Kenya from quarantine.
Najib Balala shared a list of 130 countries, up from the 18, that the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) had exempted late last month.
This means that all arriving passengers on international flights whose temperatures are not above 37.5 degrees and do not exhibit flu-like symptoms, and have a negative PCR based COVID-19 test carried out within 96 hours before travel and are from countries considered low to medium-risk, will not be subject to mandatory quarantine.
The updated list released on Wednesday however does not exempt passengers from the U.S. coming from the states of California, Florida and Texas.
