Huawei is ready to sign a “no backdoor” agreement with any country after pressure from the United States increased Amid suspicion that the tech giant was leaking confidential and important information through a “back door” hence a security threat.
Speaking to an Italian newspaper on Tuesday, the founder Ren Zhengfei said “As far as we are concerned we can sign a ‘no-backdoor’ agreement with any country,”
The major concern in the West about Huawei has been about an intelligence law in China that requires citizens and companies to aid the state in espionage investigations. Hidden backdoors on the telecom network make it possible to access customer data which pose a security threat.
