Gunmen stole an unknown amount of money belonging to Equity Bank from an aircraft parked at the Moyale Airstrip on Wednesday 11th September.
The Armed robbers stormed the airstrip, ambushed the pilot, his copilot and Wells Fargos cash officer and ordered them to lie down.
The pilot had gone to check the fuel level when three gunmen emerged from the waiting bay and took two bags full of money leaving one behind
The three occupants of the aircraft were escorted to the police station for further interrogation.
No arrests have been made so far.
