A Nairobi Court has issued a warrant of arrest Against three City businessmen namely Ashok Rupshi Shah, Megji Patel, Nilesh Bavshru and Mukesh Mavla Rawal for threatening to injure Pareshkumar keshavji Dodhia.
The suspects are alleged to have forced the complaint to withdraw a criminal case he has filed against the accused Hirji Ramji Patel.
The accused Ramji Patel was charged at the lower criminal court before Senior Principal Magistrate Kennedy Cheruyiot at Milimani Nairobi.
He was charged with seven counts of attempting to extort ten million, being possession of Government stores and unlawful possession of firearm where he pleaded not guilty and was released on stiffer court conditions.
After failing to appear in court on Monday 22nd February the year 2021 at 9am East Africa Time, the State prosecutor Senior Kennedy Panyako through an oral application before the court submitted seeking warrant of arrest order against the four suspect which was granted.
The Magistrate extended the same warrant until 8th March for the Directorate of criminal investigation Detectives to confirm before the court whether they have complied with the court orders by arresting the suspect.
