Magoha has ruled out closing down the Kakamega primary school following the demise of pupils at the school.
so far 14 pupils have been confirmed dead 2 are in the ICU and several admitted in hospitals around Kakamega after a stampede that occurred after 5.30 pm yesterday, when the bell rang to mark end of remedial tuition classes at the school.
Magoha says he has visited the 3000 plus pupils school and says it is orderly. He says the stampede may have occurred due to lack of a teacher.
“if a teacher is found to be culpable, action will be taken.” he said.
