Mobile lender M-Shwari has now unlocked a new relief for all defaulters who failed to repay the loans they borrowed.
According to data many of the loan defaulters who have been reported and blacklisted at CRB are from M-Shwari loans.
The firm is now seeking to cater for part of the loan and enable you to pay some percentage
If for example you’ve defaulted M-Shwari loan of Ksh. 2584.5, the service pays you of up to 20.1% of the total loan you owe M-Shwari. This means that you’ll have to pay an equivalent of Ksh. 2067.6 and the rest Ksh. 516.9 shall be paid for you according to messages that Mshwari has been sending to its Safaricom customers
From the above calculations and illustrations, if you owe M-Shwari lets say Ksh. 10,000, then this means that you will only pay to total of at least Ksh. 8000.
However what’s still unclear is if the money that has been offered as relief will be transferred to Fuliza considering early this month the firm transferred all loans below 2000 to Fuliza.
