A Ksh 5 million sponsorship has been deployed to support Christ Is The Answer Ministries’ Together In Generosity Initiative, reinforcing long-standing collaboration between the organizations to advance community service and faith-based projects.

Co-operative Bank of Kenya has partnered with CITAM under the leadership of the Presiding Bishop, Rev. Dr. Calisto Odede, and Senior Pastor of CITAM Valley Road, Rev. Jesse Mwai, to support initiatives aimed at strengthening discipleship and promoting social engagement through church-led programs.

The sponsorship forms part of broader efforts to fund the construction of new sanctuaries and community spaces, with resources channeled toward the ministry’s upcoming fundraising activities, including the CITAM Golf Tournament scheduled at Sigona Golf Club.

By combining financial support with event sponsorship, the partnership creates operational and strategic value for CITAM, enabling the ministry to mobilize resources efficiently while maintaining alignment with its mission of community service and spiritual development.

This collaboration also illustrates how financial institutions can integrate corporate social responsibility with strategic partnerships in faith-based organizations, fostering engagement that extends beyond traditional banking services and into community infrastructure development.

Through these initiatives, Co-op Bank provides both financial backing and logistical support, facilitating activities that reinforce social cohesion and community participation while promoting philanthropic and developmental objectives within Kenya’s faith-based sector.

The sponsorship reflects the bank’s approach to strategic alliances that combine targeted funding with active program engagement, supporting initiatives that generate measurable impact in the community while reinforcing institutional values.

CITAM and Co-op Bank continue to collaborate on programs that leverage resources, leadership, and strategic planning to enhance operational outcomes, community infrastructure, and long-term sustainability of faith-driven projects.
