Kenya National Union of Teachers is battling a new war after current and former staff members announced a looming strike.
The embattled union has previously clashed with Teachers Service Commission prompting some teachers to defect to rival union KUPPET.
In a letter to the Secretary general the staff highlighted a number of issues leading to the strike.
