Struggling airliner Kenya Airways has been exposed.
A Twitter user by the name Anita Gaitho (@SiriStudioAnita) documented on Twitter how her luggage was broken into, good worth over Sh50,000 stolen.
‘NEVER travel with @KenyaAirways if you have a choice to use another airline. My suitcases were broken into both ways and items stolen.
They’re offering me Ksh 2500 for damage worth Ksh 50,000+, even with receipts provided. Hilarious!’, She warns,
She continues,’I only used @KenyaAirways because no other airline was available for my destination. I’ve had a family member gotten their suitcase pilfered in the past so it’s always a last resort’.
Stolen from both ways
‘Outbound, my padlock was broken and they stole my perfume and make up. Inbound, I film-wrapped my suitcase that had valuable items and locked the other. They damaged the locked one but there was nothing worth stealing. Now, they want to give me 2500 Bob for a Samsonite suitcase’.
Kenya Airways has been on a numbing loss-making streak over the years.
The only think constant is govt bail outs running into millions.
