Kibo Capital Group Limited has launched a new platform for making purchases of airtime, paying Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) Post Paid bills and buying electricity token easier.
The company says Kenyans can use SMS short code 40512 to purchase airtime for any network in Kenya and also purchase their prepaid electricity token by sending their account number and amounts to the same short code.
For every transactions one does, the system generates an e-Receipt that has adverts on exciting offers and important information.
Kibo Capital Group Limited MD Jasper Ochieng says that firms can come onboard to advertise to their millions of customers who purchase token, pay for electricity and buy airtimes everyday.
‘When one purchase airtime using this Paybill, they receive a branded electronic receipt that not only shows their transaction details, of course hiding the sensitive parts, but also has adverts on amazing offers. Companies can exploit this innovative e-Receipt and make money’, Mr. Ochieng asserts confidently.
For those on KPLC Post Paid, the Paybill Number to use is 732929, saving time and money and also offering a cheap retrieval of past receipts.
